Other Sports: Philadelphia Eagles (NFL): Love, Hurts - Super Bowl LIX Champions (Jojo's Favorite Time Of The Year - Combine)

Mid 1: Ward

2/3: Sanders, Gabriel

4: Milroe, Shough

5: Dart, Howard, Mertz, McCord

Priority UDFA for the PS: KJ Jefferson. He’s 95% to be nothing, but I just want that guy in my building to see what we can turn him into even if it’s not a QB.

Completely out on: Leonard, Ewers, Rourque, Cook, etc.

I agree with the ranking, I just feel that Sanders is going to get someone to jump on him on the first round. Not really a fan of any of the QBs in this draft.

Might be worth a late round flyer. See if you can get more consistency out of him. Not that he was bad in college or anything. But probably wanted more given that profile & the higher end flashes he displayed at times in his four years of playing a lot of snaps.

It is wild to me that Penn St lost nothing when Galt retired. They don’t have recruiting classes like Bama, Georgia, and Texas but they put just as many complete freaks into the process as anyone else. And the rumored testing numbers actually hold up. The only other program in modern history that’s true for is Ben Herbert-era Michigan.

The guy (Chuck Losey) that replaced Galt was always being groomed as his replacement. He’s been with Franklin & Galt since they were at Vandy. Galt had his son on strength & conditioning staff as well (I think he’s somewhere in college now, perhaps VT) & Losey was always seen as the guy heir apparent. So not even nepotism got in the way which probably speaks to how highly viewed Losey was/is.

Obviously their strength & conditioning program is what it is. But in recruiting circles they’re pretty known for being aggressive with getting verified measurements & athletic testing. They’re known to get in early on a lot of kids before they blow up & the rest of the country discovers the player.

Tush Push really enables teams to focus more on a ground game. That high % 4th&1 play is good for watchability and diversity of offenses imo. Have to build a roster for it, (i suspect 6-10 teams would eventually be able to run it with high success rate in a few years), and brings less punting to games. We just had 20+ years of passing being super dominant, and now the ground game/trenchball is on equal footing with air raid. Banning the tush push would be like banning Patrick Mahomes for being too good at the game. Other teams cant build their rosters like the Chiefs do with Mahomes because they can't get a Mahomes level talent!

And Obviously, the tush push will get weaker over time as coaches get better at defending it and linemen will adjust. This is a natural evolution of the game.

The Eagles don’t even have the highest success rate with it. They just run it the most often. The whole thing is weird.

While we’re here, Sean McDermott is one of the people most outspoken about banning it and he points to safety issues. The team that has run it the 2nd most is of course the Buffalo Bills. So either Mr. 9/11 is deep in his feelings or he’s putting Josh Allen at unnecessary risk. But he’s got to pick one of the two.

P.S. Reuben Frank is already drafting his defense of this hypocrisy.

The whole tush push debate is such a great litmus test.

It's no surprise that some of the biggest baby back b*tch coaches are coming out strongly against it (McVay, Osama bin McDermott, LaFleur).

While some of the coaches on the other end of the b*tchiness spectrum, like DeMeco Ryans and Vrabel, are rightfully calling them out for it.
