Panthers pass D has been fairly solid and he's the best DB on the team, its their run D that gets absolutely caved game after game. But there's a bit of a bad team tax on that contract.

Not liking the talk about trading Goedert for a 4th maybe at best. I know he needs a contract and all but you'd think they can structure an extension that works for both parties. Then draft a TE for the future. At least that's what the plan should be rather than trade him then figure it out later.

I'm not wild about trading him because I don't believe there is an apparent in-house reliable pass catcher at TE in that locker room right now who maybe just needs more reps unless a frontline TE can be acquired this offseason. Also, he's in that tweener position where I think a 4th is too low but a 3rd is a little too high for a return.
