Probably a good idea to part ways and save a little there considering his age and nagging injuries. Not exactly a windfall but every bit helps.

Thanks for the good times Slay! You came through when it mattered and I definitely appreciate that.

No windfall because they pushed $22 mill of cap charges past his playing time with the club. Per over the cap their roster the highest base salary is Jurgens at $5.2 mill. All of the other starters are mainly paid via option or roster bonuses. Thus there’s going to be cap charges pushed into the future. Bradberry should also get cut soon too.

I'm guessing Coop moves outside in 2CB sets, and plays slot in nickel or dime. Probably fine trying to elevate Ringo and having Rodgers or the like as a backup plan.
Coaches should never mess ups something that works to patch a hole elsewhere. Find a CB2 elsewhere. Moving him should be a last option.

Sidebar. But since you're Jojo. Do you happen to know a website that has good coverage of the New York Toy Fair? Trying to see what's all the rage this upcoming year/looking at potential gifts.

I know absolutely nothing about toys. Like not one thing. Sorry, sir.

Didn't DeJean play the outside in college? You could look at him too lol

Sure did. Here are his counts per PFF's data:

*looks at Cam Jurgens*

That's probably not how they think.
Jurgens was always going to move to C once Kelce retired. Up to Fangio and the secondary coach to determine where they feel DeJean is best suited for in this scheme. Slay/Bradberry were going to get cut this off-season. Mitchell is one outside CB. Have to decide who is the next best outside CB and who is their slot CB.

I meant moving Jurgens to Guard. :) That was not a clean projection in any way.

But agreed. They’re agile and adaptable. It’s one of their big strengths. They’ll respond to the FA/Draft market.

They were not going to keep a 2nd rounder on the sidelines until Kelce retired. Were going to get him on the field. I just didn’t realize how big he was. Knew he was heavier than Kelce but he weighed in a a true OG weight.

Eagles can’t make more cap room. No one is due a big bae salary that they can convert. Any FA signing will be a heavy SB to defer costs until later against the cap.

303 is light for a Guard. 6027 is super short too. Both are well below prospect average let alone NFL average.
