Is Stewart’s pressure rates at least good? I actually didn’t know he ended up with that little of sacks not just this year but his whole three years too.

They killed Oweh for putting up zero sacks in his last year. Granted it was a short covid season & his pressure rates were still good. He’s ultimately turned out to be pretty good.

Top 10 now. Wasn’t before today. By the time the draft comes around, top 5 wouldn’t surprise me. The top of this draft is wide open.

It’s one of those things where you can see whatever you want. His Pressure Rate was ~12%. That’s aggressively fine. PFF says if you filter out things like RPOs, it goes way up.

The one thing he definitely has above these usual guys is that he’s a very good run defender. So was Travon Walker, which sure goes both ways.

Now that's a name I haven't heard in a while.

Was OC at Virginia Tech during Beamer's last years. You could tell the offense he wanted to run could work, but it was too complicated for the college game. And we didn't really have the talent to make it work.

Interestingly enough, Aaron Moorehead was on staff as well as our WR coach, brought in with Loeffler, so that'll be a of a reunion.

I like Loeffler! From everything I’ve ever heard, he’s extremely detailed and should make a very good QB coach.

I reserve the right to not want him to be a play caller here though. That’s a different style of job. But he’s really made a nice jump there the last few years too, so it’s not like I’d be completely against it. Just think he needs more time.

They do such a good job of plucking from college. I wish they did it more.

In all honesty though if that prevents them from taking Ward or Sanders it wouldn’t be the worst thing. They should still suck next year too where the QB class should be better.
