Anyone know who this guy is?

Edit: Ah, he's the one that said Shapiro was being chosen as Harris' running mate. Carry on.

Goodell? Where’s the money that gets him involved? Are they trying to develop something into more shitty bars and chain restaurants?

Annoyed that they did this today. Any other day, the back page of the Daily News would be "76 DISPLACED", which would have been funny. Tomorrow's back page will be about the Eagles, no matter what.

Can’t wait to see what happened here. Comcast was willing to sell half of their building to him.

The idea of having two separate stadiums for the Flyers and Sixers in the same complex is a bit confusing to me. Seems like a logistical nightmare with concerts and things and will only get worse once the Eagles get their domed stadium which will probably be on the sameish timeline as the new Sixers stadium.

It cannot be understated how Comcast selling the Sixers was one of the worst deals in the history of sports business and perhaps the city as well.

Unless they are buying out the Jetro area, I don't see where they are putting a stadium without massively killing the tailgating options and/or adding the parking garages which seems like a horrible idea in vibeology

I believe the Eagles own Jetro and is the rumored landing spot for their new stadium.

I'm gonna laugh when the "if you approve another 20,000 seat stadium, the city needs to pay us X amount of money" clause of the Chinatown agreement gets triggered here.

I'm not going to laugh because it's Josh Harris being a crook but...

Oh. It says Sixers AND Comcast Spectacor will work together to build a new arena.

So maybe the Flyers are involved?
Of course. They ain’t gonna get left out. As soon as 76 Place opened, Comcast was gonna start asking about their own

I completely forgot the Eagles want a stadium too. I cannot wait to see how they’re going to screw us on Seat Licenses.
I was talking to a family friend about it the other day that has seats in the LL. I brought it to his attention that that was on the horizon and it put a bit of panic in his eyes. Those sky high resale prices are gonna plummet and the new SBL for the new stadium are not going to be in the same hemisphere as what they cost back in 2003.

I recognize the above is completely obvious. People are gonna get f***ed.

I haven't seen any confirmation of the Flyers actually being a tenant though. Just that they'd work together. I'm sure it will come out soon enough but i'm cautious of the whole thing knowing how much Comcast put into WFC lately.
