Gave up after the half, but McCain with a bad 3/15 game…..but draws 12 FTA. Even his bad nights you come away glass half full with him. Everything else for the team was a yikes!

They tried so hard

“The team and Embiid had sought half a dozen medical opinions before signing him to a three-year, $192.7 extension this September, sources said, and all of those consulted believed his knee could be adequately managed by a combination of strategic rest and procedures to promote healing, which Embiid has been regularly undergoing since last season.”

If I was Embiid or the Sixers, I’d be talking to people about this stuff:

In fact, I probably will talk to someone about that myself in the not too distant future.
Couldn't read the articles, but if it makes the "Six Million Dollar Man" sound when your taking tight turns on your bike, I say do it!

The cool approach, described in one of the articles, involves implanting coral (like from the ocean) in your knee. Along with some other stuff and it grows something that acts like cartilage. So you’re kind of a hybrid organism after that.

That is wild. It really is amazing some of the things we can do these days. Just don't turn into a coral zombie Jack. I'd miss you.

This is the part I really don't understand. Why did they keep saying he was fine? Some guys get this and are simply never the same. That's just how it goes.
They have a stadium to build and tickets to sell. I feel like it's really as simple as that.

I don't think they've ever been open and honest about any of his injuries going back to that early injury that came about after they made him play that National TV game.
