Welp, I tried.

I think the isles need a rebuild. Don't have assets to work a retool IMO.

I don't think the flyers could put very lates 1sts to better use than getting a top center, something that is very hard to acquire by anything other than a very high draft pick. I included Farabee to equal out the fact the 1sts are late.
 
Farabee is a good player and the 2 firsts is a nice add. Make it your first plus one of the others and I’m in.The Isles are not in a good place and won’t be winning anything anytime soon. If not I feel we need 1 more piece, maybe an nhl ready prospect upper end doesn’t have to be your best kid but maybe in your top 2-3 prospects.. As much as Barzal is amazing we do not have enough around him to really make a difference . We need to add pieces and this could be a nice start to that ..LGI

P.S. - I still remember Freddy Meyer 111. Ouch…….. However the Dinicks Roast Pork with Broccoli Rabe extra Jous is the bomb could use one today on this ice cold day . Send me one and it closes the deal

I wouldn’t give a potential lottery pick plus another first plus a young player for Barzal.

Rather keep Barzal then 2 late firsts and Farabee even if this is to help a rebuild. Barzal also isn’t the guy to move out. You use him, Horvat, Romanov, Dobson and Sorokin then overhaul the rest of the roster.

YES YES YES !!!!!!!! That’s why Im ok with trading Barzal shown above somewhere. By the time we are hopefully any good again he will be old and he will,keep us just good enough to pick in that 8-15 range every year

Bingo. The equation right now is...Keep Lou = Stay in purgatory.

So if you want to rebuild, and ultimately contend for a Cup, then it's obvious what the Isles need to do.
 
What happened to Farabee?
I think Flyers need to send their 1st and have it slightly protected. The others are just too late for Islanders to make a trade hoping something clicks 5 years out.
