Assuming Holland is capable of closing a deal with Philly I see this as a probable trade:

I think this will be pretty close. A pick (3rd? 4th?) and a guy who has some upside, also balancing out some $$$. Maybe Braun gets an extension if he works out on the right side well enough down the stretch.

I'm not sure either has more value than a 7th round pick. Both are waiver eligible and neither has established themselves as everyday NHLers at the age of 24-25. Slight edge in value to Benson.

I think the Flyers will push for a 2nd.

Perlini is a journeyman that has been waived multiple times and Benson looks like a 4th line replacement level player. Both look like replacement or below replacement-level players. Would rather just get a 2nd in return.

Don't get your hopes up for a "good" prospect. The Manson trade is a solid, real world gauge for the price of defensemen right now, and I'd value him more highly than Braun.

We would not expect a good prospect. Personally, I could see the Flyers getting

a 2nd in an overpay....but Fletch never gets an overpay
3rd +4th or 5th....seems more realistic
Anything worse and Fletch just continues to proves he is garbage

Not sure if this is just my instinct or what's actually going to happen, but I wouldn't be surprised for a team that loses out on Chiarot to circle back to Braun and bump their offer to avoid being caught without anyone; I also think Chuck would be willing to include a 5th, maybe a 4th, to seal the deal rather than accept a lesser pick coming in. Ultimately, it'll be whatever Chuckles agrees to, but that's where I can see this going.
