That was quite the roller coaster. Glad he won as well, one of my favorites. Can’t even imagine the emotions he was going thru today, gotta be hard to stop the ‘oh shit, not again’ from taking over your thought process. But he fought thru it, that’s where all the mental prep comes into it.

That round from Rory was maybe the strangest I've ever seen from any player, but it couldn't be more Rory. For every time he made an insane mistake or miss, he met it with an equally insane shot to get it back. The wedge shot on 13 is quite possibly the worst shot I've ever seen in my life all things considered, but then went on to 15 and hit one of the best shots I've ever seen all things considered. Just whiplash haha.

I'm happy he got it done, I have no idea what would have happened to his career had he blown it. I think he's now in a position where he could rack up a bunch of major wins over the next 5 or so years, but on the other hand I don't know if he gets another one if he managed to lose this Masters.

pretty indicative of his entire week at the Masters...he was -4 on Thursday where he double bogeyed TWICE in the final 4 holes to finish Even
bounces back with a 66 on Friday
then shoots 66 on Saturday

then starts off with another double bogey on Sunday and bounces back
when he put that 2nd shot into the sand on 18 I thought he would choke for sure
