Man, that putt on 17 for Westwood hurts. I agree with PB that he's the best player to never win a major but this would've been icing on the cake as it's essentially major #5. Gotta admire his efforts this week and even last week. Respect for a guy at his age to battle like he has this weekend.

Solo 2nd for Westwood. If only he hit that putt at 17 we'd see a playoff here but what do you do. That's golf. Gotta admire the courage in this tough game.

Thomas really can push back when he's down and out and he often seems to hit a 64 to get himself back into contention. He did that yesterday and the best player won today.

JT is one of the best ball strikers in the world, but even he can’t normally hit it like he did the final two rounds. Over 11 SG TTG gained the final two rounds. If he hit it like that for four rounds, he would’ve won by about 10, and this would be talked about as one of the most dominant performances ever. But 2 of 4 rounds being on a heater is good enough to win tournaments on its own.

Yeah, but he would usually putt better than he did, particularly in the final round.

Guy showed up for 2/4 rounds and won the tournament, not a lot of people on tour can do that. Impressive stuff.

This was the shot of his and the tournament, it finished off Birdie-Birdie-Eagle and got him the Solo lead.

Hoisted a 4-iron way in the air from like 245 yards and got it to land like a wedge on the Par-5, just ridiculous.

I thought Brooks said a couples weeks ago that he was fully healthy for the first time in a while. Tough, since he's clearly the best in the world when healthy IMO.

DJ takes on the Barstool guys left handed. Never really seen DJ be so outgoing. And it's amazing how much better his swing looks lefty than those guys.

The players are saying that Augusta's playing firm and fast in the lead up to the Masters. Hopefully no rain in the next week. I also suspect the green jackets are upset with some of the scores the last two years, so I'd expect the fastest greens we've seen in a long time.

Spieth!!!!!!!

Just amazing composure to hold off an excellent push from Hoffmann all day. He's deserved this ever since the switched was flipped during round 3 at TPC Scottsdale. You can't help but be so happy for the guy. In his home state no less. Congrats dude.
