The Canucks do Zibanejad has been bad, its very obvious he is on the decline and while Petey hasn't been himself its obvious to anyone that watches our games that he is playing hurt, also I don't think the Miller bridges the gap between the two players.

I'm trying to figure out how Zibanejad can be on a "decline" when he is the same age as Miller and has only three less points. Are they both on a decline then?

Miller has 10 fewer games played cause he was supposedly dealing with some off ice issues, so no Miller is not on the decline like Zibanejad.

Don’t think Vancouver would have any interest in getting older AND worse with this trade, so Zib for EP isn’t a good base.

I see Buffalo as the most ideal trading partner. They have good young pieces (like Byram and Cozens) that they may be willing to trade to upgrade to a great piece (assuming EP is in fact playing injured and will eventually return to form).

Vancouver
so has EP, Myers, and Desharnais
If you're saying EP is playing "like shit" you haven't seen a single game this year. Everyone who watched Pettersson would agree, even this year, he is elite defensively, going against other top lines he is solid. The issue is his consistency of being a difference maker and taking over games like he used to.
