Oh I didn't know players attack each other and the managers air it out in the media in those sports.

They have Noah Cates listed in their top six on Puckmedia. He has ten goals this year.. And there is Scott Laughton. They have two first round picks. Ristoainenen. Drysdale? I don't what the value of Cates, or their other players are at this point. Most seem pretty average.

Silly talk. Pettersson scored 100+ less than 2 years ago and is still in his mid-20s with club control. Not too long ago, he was considered a Top-10 player in the NHL. Any GM worth their salt trades Mateychuk for him immediately, lmao.

Definitely not. We're tied for first in 5v5 goals. We need defense. Mateychuk is special.

I would be willing to bet more people agree with that than you think.

If the Flyers finagle a Pettersson trade it will need to be through a 3rd team interested in some of their high-end draft capital and futures. Canucks want proven roster players and contributors, not Philly's 1sts and prospects. Laughton/Cates could be part of a deal... but the main piece would need to be parlayed from the draft capital.
 
Pettersson for Cozens and Byram still the best trade so far I have seen.

Two players that can step in and help Vancouver immediately and I have a feeling Cozens would flourish in Vancouver since he isn't soft like Pettersson.

We like soft players in Buffalo, I mean finesse players.

Mateychuk is a very nice, young player for sure. But, there are levels of "special"... and for him not to be included in a deal for Elias Pettersson, you'd be implying he's as special as Quinn Hughes, Cale Makar, or at the very least Rasmus Dahlin. And, if he was that special, he would have been a mainstay in Columbus no later than last season.

You're reacting based on Pettersson's lack of recent production and clouded by drama. You wouldn't be saying the same thing 18 months ago when he finished 10th in NHL scoring with 102 points and receiving votes for both the Hart and Selke.

We sure have short memories, lol. Remember when David Jiricek was special too... and we thought he would be traded for a king's ransom?

Well in like the last month or so Jalen Hurts and AJ Brown were publicly feuding on one of the best teams in the NFL with a teammate telling reporters that they're no longer friends because Hurts wasn't getting him the ball enough.

Meanwhile in the NBA Jimmy Butler is forcing his way off yet another team after publicly feuding with his own GM Pat Reilly, who told him, and I quote "to keep his mouth shut" after Jimmy proclaimed they would have won some playoff series if he hadn't been injured.

If you don't pay attention to other sports that's totally fine, but nobody gives a shit about this Petey Miller stuff outside of NHL circles, nor does is "embarrass the league."
