Exactly and the same media is taking shots at other local media at flaming the fires.
And on top of that, media is not calling out fans for all this shit also, its wild man.

This interview does nothing for trade value, were gonna get killed regardless.

Feel free to listen to the same time I am thinking.

Listen from 7 Minutes to around 15 min, he goes over my exact thoughts.

Rutherfraud should be fired. Bring Burke in to babysit Alvin

NHL Network choose violence

HFboards or Vancouver if this keeps dragging out :sarcasm:

At this point we’re going to see a Canadian Made for TV Movie about the 2024-2025 Canucks.

By the time it hits the small screen, there’s going to be murder plots, deportations of the selfish Americans, etc, etc.

We aren't going to trade them.

What odds to you put towards it? I remember hearing Subban trade rumors back a while back and I was in denial. At that point in time, there was not much media leaks with the bickering going on between Subban/Patch/Gallagher but after Subban was traded for Weber, it came out. This one is different with the Canucks... The GM said there are issues publicly.

I think the Canucks are listening to all offers on both players. Imagine if both are traded and the Canucks bring in 3 or 4 core young pieces? That would be a shocker.

I believe Miller would have been traded by now if not for the NMC. I think that is a stumbling block and then you combine the 31-37 contract. Of course teams are knocking on the door but doubt they will offer a young player under team control for the 31-37 contract.

Pettersson has a looming NMC coming in July. That was exactly the same thing with Subban and he was moved a few days before July 1st.

Well for one there isn't a Shea Weber available to trade. The return isn't worth it for the Canucks.

When Weber was traded, I'm not so sure we knew he was available. Us fans really don't know the offers the Canucks are getting and I bet the phone is ringing a lot!
If the offers were anywhere close to a number 1 centre or a number 1 dman of equal calibre they would have been traded yesterday, all rumors and from the Canucks themselves the offers have been bad.

It's not ideal. Miller with the NMC complicates things. While Pettersson has a monster contract and is not producing to it so far.

No doubt teams are very interested but it does take time to figure out how to make both sides happy in any deal.

Personally if we can start getting some wins here then I would add a player like Marcus Pettersson then all of a sudden everyone will forget the beef just like last year.

Man, it just feels way too late for that. It will be a distraction forever. "No comment" is not the words of someone putting it any effort on it anymore.

Everyone in Vancouver media knows not to ask the questions about the rift but this was asked by a Preds media member thats why the no comment came up, as far as I've seen this is workable its not like the Hoffman and Karlsson situation.

Late to the game here, what is the asking price for Pettersson? Win now players or futures? Do VAN fans believe JR when he floats the rebuild word around?

How so? Sounds like a guy that just doesn’t feel like commenting on it. People read way too much into these things.

These guys are profession athletes and still play on the ice together

I dunno man, I feel like you have taken enough Ls in this thread after Rutherford's comments for me to trust your take on this particular subject.

I feel like you keep starting new threads just to trot out your clever new titles and first posts. And I'm ok with this.

Doesn’t feel like commenting on it? Give me a break. He could try to simmer it down. He could say anything to take the heat off. No comment is a clear indicator that something is going on and hes just done with the whole situation. The second a trade goes down someone is going to say some shit that will trash one or the other, and maybe both.

I sit them down and say you signed a contract play well. We can trade one of you down the line but we are getting shit offers and we can't trade you for them.

So either do better or your stuck together.

Sure thing  by that logic you’re also taking Ls for posts in here.

Very well could, but as of now they still play fine together on the ice.

As you just stated he could very well just be done with the situation, so why continue on with it when asked?

Why does JT Miller owe some reporter in Nashville any response? What was he supposed to say in response to being questioned about his bosses interview about the subject? “f*** that old senile fool, he doesn’t know what he’s talking about!”.
Let’s not act like this is the first time a player hasn’t wanted to engage with media
