David Rittich got a third round pick back so it’s going to be more than a third. I don’t see a team giving up a first for a goalie rental (has that ever happened before?). So more than a third but less than a first in value.

The Blues did it for Ryan Miller if I remember right.

I think Tampa did it for Dwyane Rolosson too.

He really has been great . Blackhawks have been going with 4 rookie defencemen on most nights and Mrazek has been treated to point blank shots by the bushel load . He has to be under consideration for next year to resign . A huge rebound year for Petr.

If he didn’t have the reputation he has, he’d still be in Detroit, Philly, Carolina or Toronto. He plays great, until that pressure switch gets turned on. Then one bad goal, turns into a complete breakdown mentally.

It’s who he is.

Even with retention, 3rd is the most you could get. Goalies don't have great value and Mrazek is just as capable of playing like an ECHL goalie as he is a good NHL goalie. He is all over the map with what you get.
