I think it's best just to keep him, Hawks already have problems generating offense, they need their goaltending to keep them in games otherwise they will be scoring 1-2 goals and letting in 4+ most games.

So far there has been 2 offers and I think Hawks say no to both. So if offers are good maybe the trade should be Pickard, Jeff Skinner and a second to the Aves for Georgiev, Kylington and a second to the Oiliers. I'd love to watch how this trade played out

I should have also said I don't know if the cap works out or not

Yuh can't trade the only player on the roster giving max effort night in and night out.

Mraz is the only thing keeping this team and fanbase from being a complete f***ing gongshow.

Georgiev is a throw in. Ritchie has good value but Mrazek @50% AND a very good defensive prospect is an over payment from Chicago.
I don't disagree with you, but EDM has not got a call up yet and seems to be down the depth chart with Korchinski, Allen, Levshunov, Phillips, Crevier etc ahead of him. Chicago needs forward depth which is where Ritchie comes in. Georgiev although struggling in Colorado is still 28 years old and may find his way on a new team or he becomes a UFA

Phillips and Crevier are not ahead of EDM. … at this stage I’m not sure if Korchinski is either.
He (to me) is looking a lot like another Vlasic. Very sound defensively with some offensive ability.

The retention aspect is huge because I'm not sure a contending team would take one Mrazek and his 4.5 hit next year when there are several goalies who are just as good or better who don't have term and have a lower AAV.

When you look at how Mrazek has played and his numbers since being traded to the Hawks, there are very few of any goalies available who are just as good or better. Put a competent team in front of him and he would be getting far more recognition for just how well he has played.
