What a classless organization the Niagara IceDogs are. I Was walking down from my seat a bit after the game and as I came down the tunnel to the concourse, and a player and his parents were chirping and harassing innocent Petes fans. I believe it was Ethan Czata and his parents and I truly couldn’t believe it. The kid was blonde. They were complaining about the embellishment penalty the icedogss took and I believe it was Czata who took it. They were yelling at parents and kids walking by saying that “the Petes organization is a joke, they absolutely suck only having 3 wins, the team and their fans are a disgrace” as well as some expletive f words and others that I would not like to share on here. they just kept going. I didn’t engage because it was an absolutely embarrassing classes display of unprofessionalism by that player and his family. They represent that IceDogs logo well because if any organization knows how to treat people poorly, it’s Niagara.
I didn’t want to share this because of this great win but I just couldn’t hold it in. It was absolutely classless. I believe it was Czata but either way it was another player and his family that should be ashamed

Big talk for a player who plays for a team that has been bad for a long…. Long time.
You cannot put the entire fan base under the bus because of one it two fans or family members frustrated after a loss
Shows that there’s a lack of leadership and accountability in the locker room and at home.
I mean Niagara kinda has reputation for this sort of thing. Also, he’s not bashing fans, he’s pointing out yet another disrespectful display from members of an organization that have been in the spotlight for this exact thing for many years.

And to add some more context:
I spoke with a fan who was involved who was in his mid 50s, a season ticket holder as well and he said he was waiting for his son and he overheard the player say " this team sucks" and then proceeded to engage an innocent passing by Petes fan and the player said "your team sucks". I really just don't know what to say with this situation. complete sore loser and extremely wrong for the player and his family to be doing what they did.
I should also add that I don't just throw this out there lightly, I would never lie or exaggerate for likes or views. I pride myself on trying to be as accurate as I can be on this site and I would not have thrown this on here had i not felt it was worthy or factual enough to share. I was really ashamed that this happened and my entire drive home i just couldn't wrap my head around the situation. really shameful

There’s probably context to this let’s not try and spread rumours. He’s not going to just say the team sucks to some Joe blow and for no reason. They don’t engage with fans unless the fan says something first.
The game they won here about a month ago in a shootout...walking out afterwards the players were really, really amped up. Screaming and yelling, lots of swearing and bragging...from a team that needed a shootout to beat the worst team in the country. It's obviously a trend with this team. With the pathetic organization that they have, it's strange that they're such morons. Even for teenagers. It obviously reflects the pathetic joke of an organization they have. With all the garbage that has come out about the franchise over the years, it's no surprise, really.
Tell us you’ve never been around overly entitled teenagers without telling us.

If there’s no video evidence and everything gets recorded nowadays I’m not sure I believe that. especially right away.
I think this reflects more on the player and his parents than the Niagara Icedogs organization and fans as a whole. I find it laughable that they referred to the Petes organization as a joke considering the recent history of Niagara. In contrast the Petes have had two contending seasons including winning the OHL Championship since the last time the Icedogs had a contending team (2018-2019) and Niagara has not made the playoffs since that all in season. Up to this season they were the joke of the league.
That is not always true. Sometimes fans of a team may make remarks to an opposition team after a game particularly if their team just won that is not directed at a particular player or fan and a player or a parent/s of a player takes exception to the comments particularly if their team lost and there is a nasty exchange between the player and or an parent/s and the fans. It does not happen often but it does happen.

What’s the odds that it’s the same guy? It could have happened I’m not disagreeing with that but without any actual video evidence it makes it less believable.

I had a perfect sight line for where this supposedly happened but left soon as the Pete’s scored but I noticed Niagara was really slow to leave the ice.

Section5Petes is a stand up person on here. Probably the last person who would spread a lie. If he witnessed it then it happened.
Search something like “Hamilton Bulldogs come off mad” or something like that. I seen one from a few years ago where Avery Hayes threatened to harm a fan.
This happens more than you think.

I’m not debating that it doesn’t happen. I’m saying that something had to have been said or done for him to go and say that to a fan.
As scout says above chirping him would do the job. But a player will not just randomly go pick out some Joe blow in the crowd and start chirping them for no reason. Something was obviously said or done to him or his family.
