GermanSpitfire, am I right in saying that you are a fan of the OHL and not just one particular team?Go Petes!
I’m definitely an OHL fan and follow every team but I have inherent bias towards the Spitfires haha - hence the name.GermanSpitfire, am I right in saying that you are a fan of the OHL and not just one particular team?
You really seem to be spreading the love around today!
Go Petes!
I had read a report that he was skating with the national team before reporting to Petes camp… can’t remember where I saw that though. No Purdeller on the training camp roster, do we know why?
He was a Pete a lot longer than he was a General.

EDIT: I believe he mentions it here in this video
And yet it was 1 year as a coach with the Gens that got him an NHL job...He was a Pete a lot longer than he was a General.
NHL felt bad for him having to deal with Gennies for the 1 year ...And yet it was 1 year as a coach with the Gens that got him an NHL job... NHL felt sorry for him having to deal with the Gennies
However it was his four and half years playing for the Petes that allowed him to play 408 games in the NHL.And yet it was 1 year as a coach with the Gens that got him an NHL job...
Thats weird. Every other team released their guy but his didnt? Sucks for us because its hard enogh for an import to come in and dominate in a new country. and now hes not even going to get a training camp under his belt before trying to do soPeterborough Petes import draft pick not in camp yet from EC Red Bull Academy in Salzburg, Austria.

Sounds like they want to use the 2 overage spots on forwards
I can’t read the article… what does it say about why they can’t get his release?Peterborough Petes import draft pick not in camp yet from EC Red Bull Academy in Salzburg, Austria.

"Oke said the holdup has come from his former team.I can’t read the article… what does it say about why they can’t get his release?
I feel bad for Sztuska. So much of it depends on timing when it comes to goalies in the OHL.Anyone interested in seeing if sztuska can win the back up job .
I like Hill in that spot as well. My guess is that the possible extra OAs in Hamilton, Flint, Barrie and Mississauga may result in higher quality OA forwards being available. I think that is the biggest reason for Oke to be patient.Who are your ideal targets for those 2 spots? I think Hill from sarnia would look good in the third line centre spot
Was told by @Petes that Collins from MISS was waived and went unclaimed by every team in the leagueBarrie…..Cardwell / McDonnell / Vierling
