It was hard to see during the regular season but it is immensely clear with the Petes heading to the OHL final that adding elite players like Othmann, Beck and Hayes was the right call. In close games where it looked like things could go either way these guys have continuously been the difference makers.

This playoff season is reminiscence of the 1995-1996 season. After defeating Kingston in round one in six games they went on to win series against Sarnia, Detroit and Guelph. All three teams finished ahead of the Petes in the standings and Peterborough were considered underdogs in all three series.
