I really like these minor trades. Getting something for basically nothing. 2 7ths and a RHD prospect for a goon, a goalie that would never see the light of day in the NHL with the Rangers and a 28 y/o career AHLer.
Hartford’s season is basically lost anyway, I don’t see why Chicago would do this though

Or maybe when Howdens healthy they send him down to Hartford for a bit?I posted about this in the main board thread
We might be clearing room at forward in the AHL to make room for a young forward prospect at the TDL? I might be reading too into this
Raddysh is ok, bonus points for being a RHD. Most likely a career AHLer but has a little NHL potential as a bottom pairing guy
Close, but Cracknell was the waiver pickup who they then sent to MTL for Holland.Holland was waiver wire pickup. This is, even if its minor, like found money
We always get the wrong brother
Hayes and Lundqvist! Vesey, too, and probably Howden. Also, Staalsy isn't the best of the brothers but he's exponentially better than Jared. There was a time when we definitely seemed to have the wrong brother at all times, but Hank might have broken that.We always get the wrong brother
K'Andre* is LHDNo downside here,
Raddysh is signed and waiver exempt next season, then RFA
He's 22 and had. 66 assist, 80+ point season at Erie - agreed that alone doesn't make him a better prospect, but reflects some on his all round game and earning icetime
till now the 8 NHL-signed D in HWP this year were all LHD,
Of the 10 prospect D added in last 12 months (TDL, draft), I believe only Keane and Lundkvist are RHD
If not needed, Raddysh can always be moved again, RHD are like LHPs, teams are always looking
It doesn’t hurt to trade a career AHLer for a prospect who could possibly become something.Gorts is the king of small pointless moves
