I don't think it'll change much, but a few things I'll note...

1. That was actually entertaining
2. Stammer has plenty left and it's a freaking shame he's stuck with Bruno . His shot is absolutely still elite.
3. The more I watch the more I think there's enough pieces on this team that a proper coach changes our trajectory much faster than people think
4. Point 3 is becoming clearer to everyone except the person that matters, so Trotz is going to be public enemy number 2 in short order
5. Wood has been ok which is more than I expected and I am hopeful I am wrong about his deficits preventing his success

I turned it on, watched the Isles score goals 5 and 6, and turned it back off. Can't believe the Preds actually won, and not sure what that says about my mojo!

Please don't take this the wrong way on points 2-4 but we beat a team in overtime 8 points out of a playoff spot in a very top heavy east. If they were in the West, they would've been eliminated already.

Stamkos, the powerplay merchant, managed to get two PP goals against the leagues second worst PK.

The win was nice and all, but we shouldn't be reading too much into that win, IMHO. It was a very even game of two really bad teams. The only thing holding the Islanders together right now is their goaltending or they would be at the bottom of the standings with us.

Figures I turned it off when the Isles went up 3-2.

At least the Boston win helps. As long as the Flyers pick up one more win, the Preds can keep winning here at the end. We could even go 2-0-2, get to 30 wins and still finish 3rd.

No I certainly get it, but on the Stamkos note, he still has his shot, and I don't see the skating drop off some have complained about. Maybe he's not as quick as he once was, but he's still got enough left that I think he can contribute on a team that uses him correctly. Which encompasses all the other points I made.

We should just hurry up and lose the next game and then win out. Since Bruno can no longer get the worst season in predators history, hurry up and secure that top 5 pick and then go on a winning spree.
