I doubt it. There is not one part of the game where this roster looks like a NHL team but as long as the owners do not lose money they are not going to cause waves.

Buffalo hasn't made the playoffs in 13 years, is in rebuild #...3?...in that time span, and saw probably the best player they took from any of those drafts go win a Cup elsewhere. I doubt they get much excited or upset about drafting position at this point.

The defensive lineup Trotz has "built" is mind blowing.

Brady Skjei, a couple of our mid-round picks that have been called up, and whatever junk from the dump he could throw in the back of his pickup.

The defense we're rolling with right now is not only probably the worst group of six we have ever iced but one of the worst defenses ever iced in the ENTIRE LEAGUE.

Fabbro - waivers now playing 1st pairing minutes and doing quite well

Carrier - traded for Barron. I honestly couldn't care less here as Carrier wasn't doing well here and Barron is young and hasn't been abysmal.

Lauzon - broken. Personally, if he would stop being elevated into the 2nd pairing I'd have no issue with him.

Josi - broken.

Schenn - traded in a package for bunting.... don't care about schenn gone either

On paper, the start of the season defense looked decent enough. Now we're at

Skjei - Blankenburg
Del gaizo - Barron
Oesterle- stastney
Englund

That's basically skjei and the tweeners/prospects. Of course it sucks.
