Entire team (including. both defensemen) start flying the zone to cause that. Why do I know Tomasino is going to end up the one benched and then scratched though?
I noticed on the PK at one point, McCarron started to fly the zone on a lose puck.

He's not fast enough though, so he didn't get far before their PP had the puck again.

I don't mind a forward doing it so much, depending on the situation (especially if he isn't speedy), but there's zero reason for both d-men to be vacating the net front to push forward in that type of situation. Our defense is just such a gong show. .

We're not very good at the hockey. Spacing sucks. Lack of ability to win battles. Nothing 5 on 5 to speak of. It's a joke.
Even though we got undressed and gave up that goal, overall I still think that might have been one of the best periods I've seen all year. We actually possessed the puck, held it in the o-zone for more than a nanosecond. Made a pass or two.

It wasn't great, but it didn't look like 💩

It was low percentage though. 2 (or was it 3) Kraken, 1 Pred near puck. Taking himself totally out of the play wasn't the right read.

I know it wasn't good. I'm saying relative to the laughable horrific displays, this was merely laughably below average. So "terrific" by their standards.

TNT guys just ripping the Preds lack of offense.

Trotz is useless if he let's this continue.
Two intermission shows of guys laughing at his team. GMBT to stay the course?

Any one recall any good scoring chances we've had this game? I think March had a good look on a PP that he shot wide. Other than that, anything thru two? Sad that I even have to ask.

Biz was talking about scoring chances...

I do remember one excellent one. Sissons made a power move to the net, threaded an impossible pass through the defenseman who was riding him past the crease, right on Stamkos tape, and Stammer shot it 3 feet wide of the open net.

Something else to consider, for the coach who loves to change up lines, we're not generating anything, maybe try changing the line combos? Swap Parssinen and Sissons at the very least? Move Novak over to wing? Anything?

Maybe just take the team to the optometrist and get some glasses as a reverse U2 team building. Group discount?
