Post-Game Talk: Perds @Canes BBQ vs BBQ rubber match 6 pm CDT

  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.

Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

In the meantime, feel free to join our Discord Server

At this point, I can't see anything changing in our standing position unless we move ahead of teams. If we lost every game, I think San Jose and Chicago still find a way to stay below us.

Given our remaining schedule strength and rigor, I think we end up with a max of 68 points. We have one 2 day break between now and the end of the season. We play on average every other day. The 2 day break is offset by a back to back.

Flyers and Utah appear to be out of the wildcard races (3 games). CBJ, MTL, and NYI are going to be really hyped trying to make the last wildcard spots (3 games). The remaining teams all solidly playoff teams (6 games). Last one against Dallas might have some players being rested.

I think we manage to win 4 games in there somewhere which should keep us in the top 4.

Ima laugh if Janko gets a couple goals. Honestly, would've never believed he'd jump out like he has. Fully expect him to come back to earth at some point but not tonight

How gross, Aho gets hit and spun down to the ice. Crowd is booing, Aho stays down as the play goes the other way... But then when there's no call he gets up and rejoins the play, even stays on for the next minute-plus.

I want to like the Hurricanes as a fellow non-traditional/southern market, but they're just not a likeable group or organization.

We had 1 shot that period???
