Wagner not only killing penalties for Bednar, he is winning faceoffs against O'Reilly impressively.

Still useless but at least not a net negative player recently.
I'm fairness to him he's earned a shot as that rotational player once everyone is healthy. He's been fine and should fit a 13th forward role.

Replays clearly show that the refs did NOT in fact call a penalty initially on Rants despite their claims that they did.
Totally made up penalty after the fact. Mikko got his shoulder in front of McCann. McCann's noggin was level with the cap of the boards. totally off balance. No head contact made. He did not "throw" McCann into the boards. The ice level camera work clearly showed it was 2 players in the same place at the same time. McCann "clocked" himself incidentally in the process.

He thinks he's one of the boys.

That's why on PPs you'll often hear "Cale, to Nate, across to Mikko one timer SCORESSSSS!"

Or "LOC flying down the wing"

I can't stand it.

I detest listening to the Av's broadcast crew these days. I usually turn it off.

What a fun win.

While Georgiev has done enough to shut me up going forward, I still simply do not trust him to lead us through the playoffs. He was excellent at times tonight though.

At this rate, in a few years he's gonna regress into calling them by nicknames

"Moose, behind the net, dishes it Caler at the point...Caler throws it over to Natedogg, to Lehkypoo! One-timer, SCOOOOOORRREESSS!!! I CAN'T BELIVE IT!!!!!"

He’s the absolute worst. I’m actually at the point where I’d rather just not listen to the game than listen to his fanboy shit. It’s actually so bad I’d rather not listen most of the time.

I've liked Moser and Ryker before this season.

But oh my god they're unbearable to listen. It hurts my soul so f**king much when they make everything sound like "the most incredible save in the history of the mankind" just happened. Georgiev makes a routine save and they sound like they won the powerball lottery. Maybe it's because every save Fourgiev makes is a miracle? I have no clue how a goalie with his "technique" didn't allow more goals last night.

Their homerism is tuned to even higher levels this season and I cannot stand it.

Rycroft said during the game that the Avs were sticking it to mccarron asking him why he wasn't in concussion protocol!:laugh::laugh:

Nashville should have gotten the 2 for embellishment...for 6'6" he sure is soft as butter - f***in plug
On a play of that nature the "injured" player should be REQUIRED to go into protocol. The NFL has a process with spotters who can call down to the field and have a player sent off for evaluation. However, Bettman and the NHL don't GAF about the players in nearly the same manner.

And then after Mikko comes back he gets knocked down without puck possession and the refs ignore the penalty as a giant FU to the Ball Arena faithful. Total BS.

Final numbers:

Shot Attempts 67-63 Avalanche
Shots on Goal 32-31 Avalanche
Scoring Chances 36-32 Nashville
High Danger Chances 18-10 Nashville (9-8 Avs after the 1st as that period really skewed these numbers)
xGF 3.87-2.86 Nashville

Saros played as expected while Georgiev stopped nearly 2 more than expected. I still don't trust his flailing lack of rebound control ass even after a good-ish game.
He’s worse than Kuemper when it comes to putting rebounds in the worst possible place. First goal was a perfect example of this. Drives me absolutely nuts. But whatever, it worked tonight.
