MacKinnon is certainly right there in the top 5, buddy was lights out with 4 goals, McDavid with 3 goals as well. Even Marner had more goals than Matthews and Eichel combined.

While I agree with the premise that he's NOT the best player in the world but he's still really, really, really good & he could play on my team anytime.

MacKinnon is one of the best players of all-time. Better than anyone today besides McDavid at 100%.
Didn't he win the Lindsay too? You know better than the players he played against?
Let's be honest, by his own admission McDavid was dog**** last game. I know they always give player of the game to the OT scorer but Marner was the best forward last night AINEC.
McDavid's been dogshit by his standards all year.
He looks how he's looked all season. The 2nd best player on the Oilers.

Kucherov was better ppg and against top 10 teams. Kuch also plays in a much tougher division.

He's been playing through something for sure. Some people say that he only wants to raise the Stanley Cup high but an upper body injury definitely isn't out of the question.

I’m f he didn’t raise the trophy last night because he is reserving that for the Stanley Cup that would sure show just how much the greatest players value the Cup and see it as the key piece in their legacy.

He would admit it has been a tough year. Any time he gets any momentum something happens. That said every player who talked about him last night in interviews casually dropped that he’s the best player in the world even MacKinnon. Lol
