I don't get it. Even now, before the tournament (World Cup of Hockey) has started, people are stating their opinions as a fact that it will be an embarrassment if the team (insert name, mostly Canada or Sweden though) doesn't easily win the whole tournament. And why, you ask? Because, on PAPER, in their mind they are AINEC the best team, and they should win 100% of the time. Real life, however, just doesn't work that way.

Why can't people just grasp the fact that the supposedly best roster on paper isn't necessarily the best team on ice? Are the masses blinded by the stats and point totals? How come a lackluster team like Finland seems to always find their way into the semis?

Canada lost this game . Doesn't really matter tho great game. Not upset I got to watch this

I would be shocked if Team Europe won the tournament but I wouldn't be shocked about them winning against any one team. At the end of the day every player in this tournament is part of the best percentile on the planet and since it's not about a bunch of 7 game series the marginals become even smaller.

I loved every minute of tonights game. That was my type of hockey I grew up on. I'm certainly not upset being fortunate to witness that game.

The game tonight was more intense than the majority of Stanley Cup Playoff games. The hate was real.
