6th round pick for the Avs. Played two full seasons in the SHL and hasn’t progressed. Was impressive for his speed and commitment to defense at the world championships. Canucks signed him when the Avs elected not to tender him a contract.

Karlsson has really nice hands and offensive skill. He skates quite slow and is a bit slow to process sometimes though. Not sure if this translates to the NHL tbh.
