DeSmith's nickname is Case? Short for headcase or just the usual lack of imagination when it comes to hockey players nicknames? :)

After the Panthers loss, I fully expect the Penguins to sleepwalk through at least one period.

Didn't the Pens work on perfecting their ability to blow 3rd period leads the last time they played the Wings.

I am NOT an Instagram person however, I do have a vague understanding of how algorithms work. When I go to "explore" because I only follow 4 people (and my dog is one of them), I see four things - 1% guns, 5% hockey, 50% girls on the beach showing off various..., and the rest is what I will call "food porn". The best part of that, is watching people make buffalo chicken in all of it's various forms (and the pizza...love watching the pizza).

So yeah, I've been a big buffalo chicken Instagram follower lately. I just have no idea how my explore feed got to what it is.

Now you all know.

2 things.

1. Let's secure this W

2. It'd be nice to see Granlund / Nylander get a point or two.

Averaging 16 minutes a game with 1 assist in last 5 at 5 million is tough to stomach.

Nylander still coasting on the 1 assist in his first game with nothing else. Has had a couple good looks but you have to bury them.

I love wings but it's incredible to me how many places get all crazy with their sauce selection but serve up undercooked, sloppy-ass wings. You gotta have that crispiness, man.

My best friend's family is from Buffalo so we've gone up there a bunch of times to watch the Bills play or catch a Sabres game or two. We're pretty much wing connoisseurs at this point. It's crazy how nearly every establishment takes their wings seriously.

Where I'm at, there are like maybe 2 places that serve decent wings (not exaggerating). Meaning they aren't 85% fat. And I'm not joking that we've tried the wings at every place around here...we call ourselves wing sluts after the Brooklyn 99 show. We even have matching t shirts lol

First off, Sully is correct that CDS deserves the start due to his recent play.

Buuuuut....CDS is a backup for a reason. So don't be surprised if he gives up 3 goals in the first period. If you sign a backup you should expect backup performance (both highs and lows). So I'm gonna be pissed if Sully looks shocked if there's dreadful goaltending going on tonight.

Jarry has not looked good, something is still off with him. CDS might give us the best chance to win.

F*** man, freakin Casey DeSmith is our bonified starter. At this point in the season that is a bit concerning. Not much you can do at this point though. Get the win and snag that 7 spot.

If you’ve ever had a friend named Casey, you call them Case. It’s just normal, haha.
