Why are you even considering this?

Pens with their games in hand would need a lot of teams to suddenly fail and this team isn't going on the heater they did last year. I am certain of that. The shit show coaching and line up usage is even more egregious this year where the team out scoring the amount they let in which was also ass last year isn't going to happen.


Fleury played well. The Wild not being able to generate much offense without Kaprizov, Ek, and Brodin is more their issue.

There's not much else to do with no playoffs to look forward to. It's tank watch or nothing.

Not like Dubas or Sully are calling up and using any prospects so not much intrigue with the actual games other than figuring how many we can lose...

Dubas doesn't choose which players to call up, he just picks the one the coach wants and confers with MacDonald on readiness. And we all know what he thinks about wbs. He literally made that clear and even with the lads doing well, he doesn't think highly of them and doesn't want to use them.

Also mate, we've had 2yrs of no playoffs before this and before that, the last playoff series win was 2017-18.

You've had practice either with a short playoff or none. We've been here mate.

It's allowed me take up more hobbies, disconnect from being a fan for a longer summer to recharge tolerance for a team where the ownership doesn't give a f*** about the fans, a coach that picks favourites and has no intention of actually wanting to take part in development or using youth for a team that is at a stage where he should be.

Oh I don't mind being a fan of a tanking team. Following the draft is exciting for the first time in a while because we're very likely to have a top 10 pick. Dubas has also somewhat restocked the cupboards so following the progress of McGroarty, Koivunen, etc is interesting.

The big club at least still has Sid and Geno to watch and sometimes they do cool things or hit milestones. There ain't shit all else to pay attention to with the big club sadly because like I said we aren't calling anybody up it seems. So most of the fun right now of being a fan is going to be speculating on shit and not on anything actually happening on the ice for our team.

And the summer promises to be interesting one way or the other. Hopefully Dubas doesn't f it up.
