We have 60 points…that’s too many…we will jostle with Seattle for 5OA or 6OA but we’re threatening to jump over the Flyers…that’s where I draw the line! Lol

As is the other new guy- Kolyachonok. Double minor? We won't be seeing him for weeks at least.
Thank goodness we have 25-minute a night Ryan Shea in the lineup…seriously…I can’t believe we won with Shea playing for 25 minutes lol

I know Minny's missing some top guys like Kaprizov but yeesh, unimpressed with that team's depth.

Have fun getting swept by whatever Western juggernaut you get in the 1st round.

Real missed opportunity today. Seattle looks like they might get a point or two. A regulation loss gives the Pens a bit of breathing room. But The Smiler's gonna do his thing.
Suter and Parise buyouts end. They take like 15 million of the cap

MAF trying to stop our drop to the bottom of the standings, the bastard.

I hadn't seen a Pens victory in a while. Not exactly pretty but still, an occasional win with Sid and Geno leading the way is fine with me.

In other news, of course Yohe thinks we should retire MAF's number because he is "one of the greatest goalies in NHL history".

Leave it to Fleury to screw up whatever is best for the Penguins and to get outplayed by another teams backup.

Looking at the standings it seems unlikely that'd we climb to higher than 8th overall in the standings. Boston is 6 points up with a game in hand and everyone ahead of them also has a similar point total but quite a few games in hand on the Pens.

So even if the Pens do some stupid heater they'd probably finish no better than 8th overall unless some or all of those teams tanked hard.

Hopefully we can avoid that though.
Why are you even considering this?

Pens with their games in hand would need a lot of teams to suddenly fail and this team isn't going on the heater they did last year. I am certain of that. The shit show coaching and line up usage is even more egregious this year where the team out scoring the amount they let in which was also ass last year isn't going to happen.

Leave it to Fleury to screw up whatever is best for the Penguins and to get outplayed by another teams backup.
Fleury played well. The Wild not being able to generate much offense without Kaprizov, Ek, and Brodin is more their issue.
