Man just a game that no one cares about. Credit Pens for the effort and Sens just looking to get out with a easy win. Nice win by the Pens in any event. Pens will be drafting in the mid top 10 so it comes down to Ranger finish and deals Dubas makes into the draft.

I appreciate that Sullivan actually played the kids…but my god was that a horrible brand of hockey…I’d like to see them playing something more fun…

The draft implications of this game bum me out, sure.
But they have been awful this year. Really terrible. An embarrassment. Impossible to watch. Dreadful. Horrendous.

If they're going to win, I'd rather see the young guys plus Sid putting up a bunch of points. Scraping by 1-0 wins with Jarry in net is the worst case scenario IMO.
That said, whether they're picking 6th or 8th likely won't matter in the long run. Koivunen and McGroarty looked good, especially Koivunen, so it's really hard to complain. Koivunen looks top-6 ready while McGroarty seems more suited in a 3rd line role to start.

Since the deadline, the Penguins are 6-4-1 and Rakell being here only seems to really have added maybe 1 or 2 wins there.
This team won't bottom out because it has Sidney Crosby on it, not because of a decision they made with Rakell.
