Either give Blom a string of games or dont play him at all. Dude comes out cold every 3 weeks. I know smart roster management is too much to ask from Sullivan

It's insane to think that Jarry in the AHL might actually help the tank with how the other guys look. Who knows. If Larsson is healthy and up to speed gotta give him some looks before the end of the season.

As stated by others Bloom needs a run of games, coming in cold so much because of a shitty back up goalie is stealing starts is terrible asset management.
Maf wasn't ruined playing on the 03-4 or 05-6 Penguins.
Blommer will be fine.

Shea is at best a 7th D. POJ is not an NHL player. Karlsson never did defend. Throw in Graves and the carcass formerly known as Letang and I cannot believe another team has a worse group at defending.

It's both tbh. The system sucks and so do the goalies. Ned and Jarry obviously suck ass independently of the system. Ned was just as garbage before he came to the Pens and Jarry well....we have't seen him away from the Pens but I'm going to hazard a guess that he would have sucked elsewhere too given not a single team wants him.
Blomqvist is too young to definitively say he stinks but they ought to let him play a bunch and get his NHL legs under him. There's nothing to lose by doing so.

Blomqvist is also way older than Maf was. Maf came up at like 18. Blomqvist is 23 and has spent a lot of time in WBS and done well there.
I don't personally think that playing behind a shit team will ruin a player. I think rushing a player before they are ready can do that, but Blomqvist isn't really being rushed to the NHL. He's earned the callups he's had.
