Blomqvist is getting absolutely zero help from guys like POJ on these goals, but these are stoppable shots.

Not going to write him off, but he has not exactly seized the moment.
I'd still rather they give him a chance to run with it. Sullivan keeps just going right back to Ned and we all know where that road leads. At least with Blomqvist if they play him a bunch maybe he figures it out. And if not....well Ned wouldn't have done any better.

playing blom once evert 3 weeks only to stink isn't doing him any favors
Exactly. Give him some runway. Let him play through the struggles. There's no point in riding Ned we aren't going anywhere and Ned stinks anyways. Blom at least has theoretical upside.

I’m not going to sweat that goal for Blomqvist. A snipe and POJ played that as bad as humanly possible by screening him. The 2nd goal was really bad, though.

Yeah, you need to see what Blomqvist can do with a fair number of games. I was glad they went to him today even though he and Ned played an equal amount yesterday.

If the team is this bad anyway they should bring Jarry back up and let Blom play every day against lower competition in the A, imo.
He's done pretty much all he can in the AHL. Like all goalies, he needs to finish his development in the NHL. The only thing he could do in the AHL is a playoff run, which he'll be able to do regardless of where he is now.
