I do wonder if Pickering would benefit from spending a bit more time in the AHL, but I feel like he's well developed enough defensively that he can stay in the NHL. Which is very impressive considering he's only 20.

Nah. He’s here to stay and he should be. He’s probably been our best shutdown guy all season. It will take time to learn the opposition.
