Seems more like Bunting was great before Mike Sullivan could adjust his game, last season Bunting was as good as he was with Toronto and Carolina, a 50pt winger, then the off season with Sullivan, Bunting is now garbage.

Bunting, mind you, was a consistent 50pt winger, let that sink in. Sullivan loves to get players to play his way and not their way and Bunting to me is no different. It’s like he gets chastised for playing the in your face style he loves to play, because he does it and the next game he almost steers away from it like he was told to knock it off. We all know how much Sullivan hates that sort of thing.

Is there any concern that Letang’s illness is heart related? A week for an “illness” is unusual.

Guess it could be COVID but they stopped IDing it as such.

I feel like if it was Covid it’d be more than Letang, it always ends up being a couple of Penguins when it’s that, if you go back to when that was a thing with this roster, it’d always be 2-3 Penguins within a week. I think you could be on to something with the heart or maybe the stroke stuff? I do know I suffer from the same migraine issue as Letang and that can be very rough to get back from quickly, so it could also be that. From what I recall, he also gets injections for his Migraines and needs time, he had it under control a few years ago but he’d be out like this when he did have his issues with it.

Or he just got a bad trim and he needs to let his bangs grow out a little before he feels he can show face.

Also has severe migraine issues so it could be anything really. I hope he’s fine health wise, but his game wise, this break is probably good to have that break as well, since he’s been a tire fire all season.
