Will L2 ever get a shot on goal? I doubt it lol…
Under Sullivan this has been a team where 1 line matters and the rest are just thrown together with zero rhyme and reason.

Rakell can score 3 goals in the second and they won't try to help the second line, he'll go straight to the first line and the struggling winger will go to Geno.

They probably skewed the definition so Sid could someday claim to have never missed the playoffs.

Then Sully Sully’d
Sully has given Sidney a lot of firsts.

First time he's had multiple first round exits in a row like this.

Multiple playoffs missed for the first time in his career....

Goated.

Why are we retiring Jagr against LA of all teams?
Honestly who gives a f***? It's just some distraction tactic.

Next season they can retire Francis' #10 or Fleury's #29. Keep playing the nostalgia angle to distract from the shit on the ice.

It wasn't that really. If you watch that series you see the biggest warts in why Sullivan will never win a round again and why his system not adapting or anything will continue to be exploited. He refused to match lines after the year before his ass got spanked for a sweep vs the Isles. He then had Murray battling pucks and threw in Jarry too late, didn't do any line adjustments to spark anything.
It is sad how stubborn he's become because early on during the b2b cups he wasn't afraid to change things if they weren't working and that included in goal.

Taking Fleury out against Ottawa after he had performed fantastically against Washington was a ballsy choice that I don't know if this current iteration of Sully would have the courage to make. But it was absolutely the right move because Maf was starting to come back to earth after that hot stretch.

I've said this before and I'll keep f***ing saying it until blokes here admit it finally..

The back to back cups happen because Sullivan decided to defer to Tocchet a ton. There was a lot Tocchet took control of that made the Pens, the Pens we like to watch. That same stuff is what he is doing in Vancouver. Sullivan needed Tocchet to be the players coach and run the powerplay and when Tocchet left you see how much of the bad really crept in.

Glory's ready to have an aneurysm because Sully is benching Puustinen because he has 1 goal in 21 games this year.

C'mon bro it's gonna be ok.

Acciari is an idiot. no wonder why he spends all of his time injured. Part of me thinks he likes it better that way.
