Yesterdays win was just so mind-numbingly stupid! Also, we wouldn't have finished 4th. Boston has the tank job going and Philly's woefully behind. . At best maybe 6th. But that's a pipe dream now.

It was pretty sick to watch Sid dominate. Maybe win that but lose in regulation to the Blues instead of getting a loser point. Why do we need TWELVE loser points? maybe 4 or 5.

Nah, if we would have gotten no points on this road trip THAT would have been what's best in the long run. Every win, possibly every point we accrue between now and the end of the season costs us a position.

Pittsburgh can still accrue 82 points IF they win every game. Their schedule is favorable. Any team below that number is susceptible to Sullivans Tyranny!

The teams in question are the following: Anaheim (tough schedule), CLB tough schedule (and up on us by three), Rangers, (should get above 82) BUF (on fire but who knows) DET Brutal schedule and our ole friends the Isles (who miraculously won today). Each of these teams have games in hand. Of course if you don't win them who cares? lol

Lots to be decided. Even with the games in hand, we have the easiest schedule of any of these teams.

It'd be great if the Pens (gutless cowards) would lose. IT really really really really would!

One goal scored vs the 2nd worst team in the league, with the 3rd worst defense.

The Sid line has looked solid. Only been a couple games, but McG seems legit. Koivunen looks ok, might benefit from a little more seasoning in the AHL. Now just fire the coach, get a 2C, fix the goaltending and replace the entire defense and we might be onto something lol.

I thought Koivunen looked more dangerous as an individual but I thought McG looked better on the line. I think Koivunen would be producing more if he were with Sid and Rust.

Koivunens play on the PP goal is the thing that sid and Geno forgot how to do. Attack the slot with the puck. If there is a shot, take it, if not someone will be open.

I thought Koivunen looked more dangerous as an individual but I thought McG looked better on the line. I think Koivunen would be producing more if he were with Sid and Rust.

I thought about maybe those two switching lines but both seem best at LW and RW, and you know Rust isn’t coming off that line.
