At what point do we watch these games with the #1 thing on our minds - the PK streak?

30 in a row! Staggering numbers.
The Pittsburgh Penguins are the #1 PK in the league, as I live and breathe...
3rd defense too.

That is how championships are won.

I am not saying that we are favorites or anything, but a great defense is the great equalizer in the playoffs. I hope we can maintain and improve on that level this year. Once Geno, Rust and Jake come back, the offense will take care of itself... but we better not lose our good habits

As for the game tonight, I posted their lineup in the NHL thread yesterday... it is more than dreadful. We have to win this game and win it convincingly.

Last time we lost to these guys it was the 2nd of a B2B. This time we're coming in well rested and with Jarry in net.

Though it hardly seems possible, the Habs are even more beat up than they were when the Penguins last faced them: Josh Anderson, Tyler Toffoli and Jeff Petry are out now and Brendan Gallagher may still be in "protocol".

Depending on the Pens' attitude for tonight, that's even more of a reason to show some killer instinct and grind out a win, or it's even more of a reason to put out a lackluster effort and figure on winning simply by taking the ice. We've seen too much of the latter at times to rule it out entirely.

these are perfect conditions for an unexplainable loss. I can hear errey and Mears calling out a desperate and very dangerous Habs team...I am betting on Canadians tonight...

Definite trap game, here's hoping we're better than that.
How much you wanna bet sully plays the same game throughout?

Just press and be quick on the attack / turnover / otherway rushes.... get on that puck as fast as possible...

Either it will work.... or it won't.... nobody knows. Not even Sullivan.

I think I recognize like five names on that Habs roster. They're gonna lose, huh?

You look at what the Habs and Islanders did last year and to the Penguins lately in general then this year so far and you just have to shake your head a little.

Not sure what to expect on this one, but I'm hoping for a solid convincing victory.

Just looked at the betting lines, montreal is at 3.7/1 payout for a regulation victory.

I don't expect MTL to win, but with that payout of 87k... it seemed lucky... in reverse.

I hope the penguins win, but if they don't... I'll win. Negate some of the hurt.
As long as it's in regulation.

Hope you have access to live betting. Cause when this goes to OT, you gonna want to double down on the Habs given how terrible the Pens are in overtime/shootouts
