I always try to enjoy when Geno and Sid do good things. We won't get to see it that much longer. We didn't need the points, but how can you not be happy for Geno there?

Can never complain when the team wins on the back of Sid/GenoVery Mario-like on that OT GWG by Geno.
Always nice to beat the Flyers idc what people wanna say about draft slots or whatever
Preds are winning 2-1 in the 3rd, FWIWAlways nice to beat that team but the 2 points hurt in the long run.
the 2 points hurt in the long run.
Sullivan is gonna look at the results and arrogantly disagree. He's gonna think geno generated that much offense because of his brilliant lineup decisionsMalkin should desperately get some help at W, truly remarkable how much offense he has been able to generate with Beau and Glass out there tonight at age 39
At the end of the day, Chicago, SJ and maybe even Nashville won't catch us. So no matter what, we will need some lottery help!Always nice to beat that team but the 2 points hurt in the long run.
Tomasino will surely be on the 2nd line for next game, right?
Right?
Lol. how much you want to bet he starts Ned next game?Tomasino will surely be on the 2nd line for next game, right?
Right?
Really did remind me of Mario. He used to love doing that pull back move where a d would dive to block him and he'd just use his reach to pull it back away from the stick and then pick his spot on the goalie.

Staying in the top 7 or so would be nice but I'm also never gonna complain about Sid and Geno doing cool things and/or the Pens beating a rival.f*** the standings, the lottery makes finishing last a hell of a lot less appealing, nor do I think us accumulating few enough points to 'catch' the teams below us is really in play, short of Nashville somehow going off. Chicago & San Jose are way below us and basically uncatchable, so...eh, f*** that noise.
That felt good. There haven't been many moments like that this season. An OT winner from Geno against Philly is never, ever a bad thing. Especially not with Talbot in the house.
I'm as torn as most of you, but let's be clear - getting 0 points isn't an option and we'd basically need to do that for us to be favorites in the draft lottery. Also...f*** Philadelphia.
Agreed, and let's be honest, we ain't going to lose out until the end of the season. Beating the flyers will never get old, f*** emf*** the standings, the lottery makes finishing last a hell of a lot less appealing, nor do I think us accumulating few enough points to 'catch' the teams below us is really in play, short of Nashville somehow going off.
