Flames are a pretty solid playoff team. This shouldn’t be happening. I don’t know if I like this. Last thing we need is for our goalies to become clones of Shesterkin.
Theoretically, it'd make them easier (hell, possible) to trade. In reality, this team's just gonna f*** up their draft position for meaningless points and think these goalies should be held on to at all costs.

Can you imagine if everyone who ever got their stick under Sid’s hands was called? He’d draw a PP every 60 seconds of playing time.

Crosby has been dog shit in this game
He hasn’t been good. I’m seriously beginning to doubt his hand-eye. He’s missed on so many deflections this season it isn’t even funny. They say the vestibular system is one of the first to really degrade with age.

Eh, he hasn't been sharp in those areas, but that's low on my list of concerns. He isn't showcasing that high hockey IQ (which in theory should be the last thing to go). A lot of passes to nowhere, not utilizing his linemates particularly well, and a lot of boneheaded plays with the puck on his stick going at defenders. It's been on my mind this season that if you didn't know of his legacy, you wouldn't hone in on him as our biggest threat on the ice. The points have racked up, but he hasn't looked impressive to me at all. Maybe it's just a matter of unrealistic expectations on my behalf, I dunno.

He’s had a few games where he looks like Sid but yeah, the majority are subpar compared to what we’re used to. I’ve never thought that he Rusty and Rak work well together. Change one of those guys out, (preferably 17) and he might start cookin’.

But if you were to ask me about where his game isn’t as strong as it’s been, it would be the hand-eye. From knocking down loose pucks to getting his stick on a shot from the point, it hasn’t been there at all.

Remember when we had a cool 4th line. It was like Cullen with Kuhnackl and Rowney?

Been 8 years of suck.
Tbf, Matt Cullens coming in for that cheap at that stage of their careers to a team that needs that particular brand of leadership is hard to find.

No Matt Cullen coming to Pittsburgh and I think the Pens are stuck at 3 cups.

Big save on one end and then goal on the other. Competent goal tending immediately changes the complexion of a team
