But this is a recurring theme for Jarry. Sometimes goalies need to go above and beyond.

Jarry isn't costing the team the season, but his inconsistency isn't helping. He's either shutting teams out or looking very average.

Hellebuyck, Demko, whoever wouldn't be winning the division for Pens either. They don't score enough.

You can point out mid-level issues like Jarry's feast or famine approach and inability to come up big in critical situations while acknowledging there are more severe issues plaguing the team.

I’m sympathetic to this. Jarry can be very good, but he never goes into that Hasek realm where he makes saves that bring you out of your seat. It’s just… there’s like 8 things I’d want to fix on this team before I got to that being an issue keeping us from winning.
