Injuries or not, the Canes tried everything to let them get back in it and the only goal they could manage was a fluke bounce on a dumb play by the Canes' netminder.

I don't think Ty Smith is that bad. They are asking him to basically single handedly carry this D right now. That's not what he should be doing.
