He definitely looks bottom-6 ready but I wonder if it's better for his development to be dominating in the AHL over a depth guy in the NHL.

Oilers would be turning into the post-Cup Bylsma era Penguins only without a Cup. Jar Jarry would only sink them further into the depths. I could see them having many circus playoff series like the Pens had in 2012 and I would love to see it.

McDavid should get out of Edmonton ASAP if he has any sense, if not I have no pity for him.
