Would be very Pens to snap the Blues' 10 game winning streak only to lose to the Hawks in a couple of days
I don't know how this we'll turn out, sincerely, ok? But our next two games IMO are against the two best teams going right now. St. Louis and Dallas. This should be two regulation losses. I just hope STL and DAL show up and play to their abilities or close. If so we should receive ZERO points.God do we need a thorough ass whooping by the Blues.
I’d tell them to lose but that hasn’t worked so far…so GO PENS! Lol
And hopefully Malkin plays…he was out for the optional skate
It's like Sullivan's and the team's goals are very different things and we're not on the same page or something.I'm honestly perplexed why they keep playing Jarry. Winning games at this point doesn't particularly help them. Maybe seeing if he can play himself into not being an automatic buyout in the off-season?
More realistically it's Sullivan trying to win every game and going with the "hot hand". Still, he's almost definitely not in their plans next year so why not play Nedjelkovic more? Jarry's starting in like 80% of their games it seems.
Sullivan is an idiot. It's as simple as that. Dubas should have left Jarry down in WBS.I'm honestly perplexed why they keep playing Jarry. Winning games at this point doesn't particularly help them. Maybe seeing if he can play himself into not being an automatic buyout in the off-season?

No it isn't, not in this case. He can experiment with the line up. Give his lesser lights more minutes. Cancel practices just because. Stop playing hot goalies. Look at the Bruins, they're doing it right. The head coach is always going to try to win every game. That's their job.
"Tank and draft a kid with genuine skill? Blech." - Mike Sullivan, said while violently shuddering, probablyThe head coach is always going to try to win every game. That's their job.
Imo I'd point more blame at Dubas if the Pens end up costing themselves a better pick. Because he could have easily gutted the roster more than he did at the deadline, but chose not to. But Sullivan's always going to try to win every game.

What's with the comment/thumbs up counter.... Mine drastically changes day by day... It's reversed and been cut dramatically by at least 50%
