Since it's his first game here maybe he'll pull a "Ludvig" and clock himself trying to throw a big hit. He can't be waived if he's hurt.

Kolyachonok and Desharnais would be a good pairing if they were playing in a system that was based in any kind of coaching logic or get the minutes and usage they should. At best I just hope he succeeds in spite of the usage and system.

I will never understand why this team brought Joseph back, that went about as well as everyone knew it would. They expected different results by using him the same way by the same idiot coach?

Pickering was more than holding his own next to Letang, where he should be right now and going forward IMO. Then he got a flukey injury, came back on the third pairing on his off side, unsurprisingly struggled in that role and was sent down never to be seen again until 2025-26 (apparently).

Joseph and Koly could be alternating on the third pairing and people would be put in places for success. Imagine that?
