Jensen was such a shrewd pickup. A ton of credit to Staios for identifying a huge area of need (RD who can skate, and play a mistake-free game), and then making a ballsy move without caring about the optics. Chychrun is the bigger name, but I think Jensen has been every bit as good as him this year. And Jensen is also signed for next year.

Yeah and it was pretty obvious we were out of gas by the third period. Not sure the game gets tied up by Pitts if we're not on a back to back including travel(insane that this is even a thing in pro leagues but wtv).
Back to back with long travel night and Ullmark having to play a second game. Who would have thought they'd take both games. WOW!!!
Jensen is definitely the better fit on this team, I'm glad we actually have competent pro scouting now, loving the moves Staios has made to make this team better.

Just my gut feel on it, but to me Chychrun was wild swings of positive great and negative bad... I could never really settle on him as dependable. To me Jensen is far more rock solid than problematic. Never going to have as much offensive upside but you can't have every D be that. Sens have been woefully lacking a couple rock solid couple D and he is that for me.
Our current captain coming down in OT on our old captain, makes a move on him and scores.

After that frustrating OT loss against Philly on November 14th, we went on to lose the 4 next in regulation, things were looking BLEAK
Since then 7-2-1, 28 GF, 21 GA
4th best P%, 13th best GF/GP, 4th best GA/GP
