I mean it’s entirely possible that we underrated MAF, given how most of the goaltenders in the league are.

I don't know what's crazier - that Columbus leads the leadue in goals per game at home or that we lead goals against per game in general and yet no alarm bells seem to be ringing in the minds of the people running this circus.

There's no secondary scoring, these players that Dubas acquired for little to nothing in order to find a diamond in the rough weren't bad ideas, but they are what they are, marginal NHL players. DOC needs out of here, he's not going to get any better on this team as it is constructed and as it is coached. Malkin needs a winger, all these guys getting to play with him are not the answer, we have basically 7, 4th liners being moved around and the 4th line itself is Craig Adams, Tanner Glass levels.

I believe Jarry could contribute on a team that employs a structure that doesn't give up as many high danger chances... He will never prove that here, he's never really shown he can consistently make that game changing save night after night... Or with this team period after period. He would play much better in a conservative based system, and that's not happening on a team with Letang, Karlsson, Gryz.

I don't believe the defense is coached at all, it's just players scrambling to figure out how to survive with the partner on the ice. POJ came back and looked like he was the most solid option we've seen all year, but it won't last long when he's being played above his head in matchups he's not at the level of.

This run they had was fun, but it gave ownership, management and coaching staff a false narrative to cling to.

Anyways, back home to take on these bloody Islanders again!!!!

Jarry isn't good but the Pens had an expected goals against of 5 last night. Thats....not good.

I'm surprised the score wasn't worse tbh

And the 7th goal that’s called back. He had plenty of time to set up for that and they lucked out that they called interference.

Goalies are allowed to make a save though.

Jarry has like 4.00 GA

Im tired of complaining about him and also tired of people defending. He sux and should just be ignored at this point.

Jarry is 3.58 which is a far cry from the 6.0 he started out with.

The same could be said about the team, they could actually play defense and not do such stupid and questionable plays so often.

People seem to forget that a goalie's stats are a reflection of team play around them, shot blocks, crossing the T's and dotting the I's more often than not. This team is not full of that kind of depth and hasn't been for years now.

The top goalies would struggle behind this team, and this team has a history of leaving their goalies out to dry, and often.

So, I ask, how do you think you'd fair behind this 1- line (1-5 man unit) team that's purely offense while 0% defensive?

You can't have one without the other.

The team sux, but I can't make you all stop watching, I can only show where people are off on their critiques.
