That OT winner is one of the sickest goals of Crosby's entire career. Been a long time since he scored one that nasty. That's all I'm gonna take away from this game.

It looks like it does, but it actually just bounces off the ice.
Raks has been very good this season which is almost frustrating because if Sid, Ek, and Letang were playing better it might actually matter.
But Raks goes on a heater and those three all decide to play below their capabilities

Rakell didn't touch the puck after Sid on the first goal. The view from the camera positioned behind Crosby pretty clearly shows he deflected it straight to the ice; it didn't come anywhere near Rakell's stick.
Even so, Rakell has certainly been better this year than last. Not one of the bigger problems on the team by any stretch.

You know in a way, and I'm gonna take this opportunity to rationalize it this way, me seeing the goal as Rakell's is the same way blokes see Sullivan doing anything good as a coach for this team the last few years.

- Doc-Eller-Puusty needs to get more games together. They showed enough good to keep going.
- Hayes should be a healthy scratch
- Bunting had a better game, I get the sense he gets a couple vs the Habs.
- Beauvillier moves around a lot for doing nothing, the ole razzle dazzle look busy the boss is coming method.
- Puljujarvi should have been in over Hayes after the last game.
- Ned wasn't really tested but he didn't let in any bad goals finally so that's hope.
- The rest, sloppy. Ducks are very poorly coached and survive off of Dostal being a God in net and Terry and Carlson.
- They won, Sullivan will get praise he doesn't deserve, same ole shit.
