Mike Johnston seems as depressed as Bylsma over this. I was hoping he'd at least crack a smile.

I don't mind Arcobello, seems to be pretty strong on the puck for such a smallish player.Arcobello looked like a useful player. Sutter largely did not.

Scratches Bennett, keeps Despres to the bottom pairing most games, doesn't make adjustments, poor in interviews, plays the "washed up veterans" every chance he gets.
So I ask again, what does Johnston do better than Bylsma? In all his years coaching the Pens, how many players did you see barely giving any effort and only along for the ride? He would never give someone who doesn't work hard a roster spot on his team
I'm throwing all my -s at the Devils for bringing the trap back. ****ing brutal game to watch.
That's the most ludicrous statement I've ever read on these boards. I'd like to see you find 2 other people that agree with you.
That's the most damning thing. Sure, he's getting older and he's in the inevitable decline but the bigger problem is pure laziness. idk if he wants out or thinks effort is beneath him but it's ridiculous.
The coaching staff taught him a lesson by healthy scratching a potential threat for being a fraction as bad as Kunitz for a few games.
I agree with him over Perron.
Acrobello certainly isn't the usual waiver wire pickup we are used to with Shero. He actually has been pretty good after getting acclimated.

if you think johnston is poor in interview you must think bylsma has severe mental Pejorative Sluration
[/COLOR]The above is so true.
Getting back to the game, pens beat a very bad Devil's team. The pens D were rarely hit, Devils forechecking was almost non-existent. Let's wait until Sunday's result against one of the top teams is in before if the celebration is to continue.
LOL - you can't be serious

So now that thats over with. Can we talk about MJ's systems beating the trap and outshooting the Devils by a wide margin? Or are we going to beat up MJ about something as well?
