It doesn't really matter if you're giving up 2 goals a night or 6 goals a night if your team is being held to 1 goal a night, which happened in 3 of the 4 games in the playoffs last year.

Jarry has earned the net. I don’t see anyone on this board arguing otherwise. Jarry also shouldn’t be starting every friggin game.
I honestly don’t get why people are freaking out. If you truly believe Murray sucks and Jarry is great, this does nothing to impact your world view. Freaking out and screaming about things that are verifiably false just makes you seem insecure.

You just said he’s determined to move heaven and earth to make it happen. Yet, it hasn’t happened.

here’s the issue: Murray has been bad. I’m not married to the idea of retaining him. I’m not married to the idea of moving on from him. Jarry is gonna go on a slump at some point. Murray is going to rebound at some point. Goaltending has a ton of ebbs and flows, especially with goalies this young.

and, as usual, I’m not arguing a side, as much as the process of the argument. People are going nuts. “The shot off the cross bar was medium glove for the goalie who’s gonna make 50 million, Jarry has never had a sub900 game, please don’t type his name into google to fact check me!”

Murray had been bad. We don’t have to make our ****ing pathetic lack of intelligence and critical thinking match his Play

I won't deny that my better judgment goes out the window when it comes to how I support my sports teams. That's one of the best parts of sports fandom.

I don't think Jarry is some immortal permanently. Just that he's pretty good overall and playing great now.

I want Murray to bounce back to his '16-'17 the same way you want Star Wars to bounce back. It's just harder and harder to see it happening.
